Challenge FC strives to make soccer affordable for all participants. Everyone involved with Challenge FC is a volunteer.
Registration, Club, and Team Fees:
The Challenge FC program charges a one-time, non-refundable fee of $250.00 at the beginning of each season. This payment is due after the player accepts placement on a team which happens after the tryout process. This payment covers the AYSO and AYSA team registration fees, field usage, player registration and insurance, league fees, league referee fees, administrative costs, and funds the first few tournaments. The Team Manager collects these fees from each family and sets up a Team Account. Each team will handle its own finances with the money being deposited and accounted for in the Challenge FC account. Remaining team fees will be collected once the number of tournaments is selected.
Total cost is different for each team. As an example, last season's U10G team chose to play in 7 tournaments, and their total cost per player was $350 (with some fundraising). This cost included uniforms, backpacks, fees for 7 tournaments, registration, insurance, and practice fields.
